The pretest-posttest control group design was used in this research. Data was analyzed with t-test at 0,05 level of significance. Result showed that the t value was 3,66 while t-table was 1,67. Therefore, it could be concluded that the application of the active learning strategy type true or false with reason was able to increase students’ learning achievement in colloids discussion at XI Science class of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.Item Penerapan Model Learning Cycle 6e Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Sistem Koloid Di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru(2013-01-03) Utami, W.FPENERAPAN MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 6E UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA POKOK BAHASAN SISTEM KOLOID DI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 3 PEKANBARU Wira Fadhila Utami, Jimmi Copriady, dan Rini Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Riau Email : wirafadhila@yahoo.co.id Abstract : Learning model is one of ways used to achieve learning results. One of learning models that can be used to improve learning results is Learning Cycle 6E. The purpose of this research was knowing increasing of students’ learning results at class XI Science SMAN 3 Pekanbaru on colloid system. In this case, there were two classes selected randomly to be experimental and control groups. To collect data, the syllabus, the lesson plans, reading material, student worksheets, problem elaboration and evaluation questions are used as research instruments. The influence of using the Learning Cycle 6E model on the students’ learning results was analyzed by comparing the difference of posttest-pretest of the experimental and control groups after the whole materials were already taught. Based on the T-test one point of view, it was found that tvalue > ttable (2,5416 > 1,671). Therefor, it can be concluded that the application of the learning cycle 6E model can increase student’s achievement on the subject of colloid system in class XI SMAN 3 Pekanbaru with an influence of 9,168%.Item Penerapan Model Learning Cycle 6e Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Di Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru(2013-01-03) Astiraji, IPENERAPAN MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 6E UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA POKOK BAHASAN HIDROKARBON DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 3 PEKANBARU Ilse Astiraji, Betty Holiwarni, dan Jimmi Copriady Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Riau Email : ilse_astiraji@yahoo.co.id Abstract This research was aimed at knowing the influence of using the Learning Cycle 6E model on the students’ learning results in hydrocarbon. The first graders of SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru which were at the end of the second semester of 2011/2012 were the subjects of the research. In this case, there were two classes selected randomly to be experimental and control groups. To collect the data, lesson plan and tests were employed as research instrument. The influence of using the Learning Cycle 6E model on the students’ learning results was analyzed by comparing the difference of pretest-posttest of the experimental and control groups. Based on the T-test one point of view, it was acquired that t-value > t-table (1,793 > 1,671). This research aimed to increase students’ achievement in learning oxidation-reduction reaction (redox) at grade X class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The students were divided into three groups with different ability (high, moderate, and low). This research was used pretest-posttest control group design. Hypothesis was measured by n-gain and t-test. From the result ngain experiment class is bigger than n-gain control class (0,89 > 0,71; 0,72 > 0,53; and 0,57 > 0,55) and t observed was 1,90 meanwhile t table was 1,67. It indicated that t observed > than t table. It means the Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. (0761) 63266 ABSTRACT Based on information from a chemistry teacher at SMAN 2 Siak Hulu is known that there are still many low student learning outcomes, especially on the subject of nomenclature X High School class of compounds. Learning method which has been used teacher-centered lecture method. This affects student achievement, for it carried out the research with guided note-making strategies to improve student achievement in the subject class of compounds nomenclature X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. Time data collection that is dated November 3 to December 9. The sample in this study is X.8 class as a class experiment and X.6 class as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study is to test techniques. Data gathered from test data taken from the value of homogeneity test chemical bond students on the class of X and hypothesis test data taken from the difference between posttest and pretest values. Data analyzed by t-test is to determine the increase in academic achievement between experimental classes and control classes. From the research, it can be concluded that the strategy-making guided notes to improve student achievement in the subject class of compounds nomenclature X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu that is equal to 9.98%.Item Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Listening Team Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Koloid Di Kelas Xi Sman 10 Pekanbaru(2013-01-05) Alawy, NurazmyThe research of implementation cooperative learning model listening team has been done to find out the increasing of student’s learning achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consists of two classes which are control class and experiment class. Experiment class is the class that handled with implementing cooperative learning model listening team, while the control class is the class that handled without implementing cooperative learning model listening team. Data analysis technique uses t-test formula. Based on the result of research were obtained that t-count >t-table is 2.878>1.67, which means that cooperative learning model is increasing student’s learning achievement in colloids subject in SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Increasing student’s learning achievement at experiment class with gain normalized skor (N-gain) is 0.71 that classified as high category, while control class with gains normalized skor (N-gain) 0.63 that clasified as medium category. This result shows the increasing of student’s learning achievement by implementing cooperative learning model listening team on the subject of colloids in class XI of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru.Item Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Teknik Keliling Kelompok Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Sistem Koloid Di Kelas Xi Ipa Sma Negeri 5 Pekanbaru(2013-01-05) IsmawatiHave been do the research by apply cooperative learning with the roving groups techniques to increase student achievement in the subject colloidal systems in class XI Science SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The research’s type is experiment research conducted on 15 May to 16 June 2012. The sample consisted of two classes, namely XI IPA 3 as the experiment class and the control class XI IPA 1. The experiment class is the class treated by cooperative learning the roving group techniques, while the control class is the class untreated cooperative learning roving group techniques. Increasing student achievement is measured using the research instrument pretest and posttest form of matter. Data analysis technique used is the t-test using the data obtained from the test value and the value homogeneity and hypothesis testing. The research has been done at may 2012. This research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample of research is XI IPA 2 class as the experimental class and XI IPA 3 class as the control class. Data collection techniques in this research were a t-test. The purpose of this study to determine whether the use of Microsoft Office Powerpoint media through STAD type learning model to improve student learning outcomes. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques to form experimental research with pretest and posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, a class of eight homogenous. Sample selection is done by lottery, a class X-3 as the experimental class and class X-2 as a control class. Based on the statistical analysis of the t-test can be concluded that the use of media through Microsoft Office Powerpoint type STAD cooperative learning model on experimental class to improve student learning outcomes by 14.54%. Thus it can be said that the use of Microsoft Office Powerpoint media through STAD learning model type provide a positive influence on students' level of understanding on the subject of Atomic Structure and the Periodic System.Item Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7e Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Di Kelas X Sma N 3 Tapung(2013-01-07) Susanti, WiwikA research on the application of the learning cycle 7E model has been conducted by purpose of increasing students’ achievement in learning hidrocarbon at grade X class of SMA N 3 Tapung. The pretest-posttest control group design was used in this research. Data was analyzed with t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Result showed that the t value was 3.728 while t-table was 1.67 and N-gain 0.711 in high category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the application of the learning cycle 7E model by experiment, discussion, and question-answer method was able to increase students’ learning achievement in The purpose of this research was to know if the application of cooperative learning model Word Square could increase student achievement in colloid topic. Subject of this research were students at XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 in academic year 2011/2012 that had been tested its homogeneity. XI IPA 1 class was randomly selected as experiment class and XI IPA 2 class as control class. Cooperative learning Word Square model applied in XI IPA 1 class. Research results revealed that application cooperative learning Word Square model was capable to improve student’s achievement in chemistry especially in colloid topic (t arithmetic > t table; 1,94>1,67). From observations during the field experience implementing programs in SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru in September 2011 until January 2012, it appears that the way of presenting student worksheets seem monotonous and less varied in particular on the subject of Atomic Structure and the Periodic System of Elements the first grade. This causes students are less motivated and less actively involved in the learning activities, resulting in students’ achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure and the Periodic System of Elements is still relatively low. Based on this, done research on giving student worksheets form of crossword puzzles to improve students’ achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure and the Periodic System of elements the first grade. This research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The time of data collection was conducted in July until September 2012. The population in this research is the first year students of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru of the academic year 2012/2013 consisting of nine classes. The research sample consisted of two homogeneous classes, the class X.8 as the experimental class and the class X.4 as the control class. The experiment class was treated giving student worksheets form of crossword puzzles, whereas the control class was given usual learning. The data collection technique is the technique of test. Technique of data analysis used is the t-test. The sample in this study was a class XI IPA 5 as the experimental class and XI IPA 1 as the control classes. Data collection techniques in this study is the technique of the test, the data obtained from the difference of pretest-posttest value as the test data hypothesis. Data were analyzed by t-test calculations which used to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes and gain normalized (N-gain) to determine the category of improving student learning outcomes. The value of the average normalized gain student learning outcomes experimental class and control class respectively, are 0.735 and 0.625 were categorized as high and medium. Forms of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. When data collection was conducted in May-June 2012. The sample consisted of two homogeneous classes, ie class XI-2 as an experimental class XI and class-3 as a control class. Experimental class is a class given the class-based assessment application (written assessment, assessment of affective, psychomotor assessment, oral assessment, assessment journals, product assessment, self-assessment, peer assessment and portfolio assessment), while the control class is the class of the given learning without application classroom-based assessment (written assessment). Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing using t-test formula-derived t count> t-table is 3.56> 1.67 means that the implementation of classroom assessment berasis to improve student achievement in the subject of colloidal class XI High School PGRI Pekanbaru. Increased academic achievement on classroom experiment with increase of 17%. Keywords: class-Based Assessment, Learning Outcomes.
