Abstract
A research on the application of the active learning strategy type bowling campus has been conducted by purpose of increasing students’ achievement in learning chemical bond at grade X class of SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The pretest-posttest control group design was used in this research. Data was analyzed with t-test at 0,05 level of significance and normalization to determine chemistry students' increased learning achievement between grade control and experimental classes. Result showed that the t value was 2,95 while t-table was 1,67. Therefore, it could be concluded that the application of the active learning strategy type bowling campus was able to increase students’ learning achievement in chemical bond discussion at X class of SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.
