Abstract
A research on the application of the learning cycle 7E model has been conducted by purpose of increasing students’ achievement in learning hidrocarbon at grade X class of SMA N 3 Tapung. The pretest-posttest control group design was used in this research. Data was analyzed with t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Result showed that the t value was 3.728 while t-table was 1.67 and N-gain 0.711 in high category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the application of the learning cycle 7E model by experiment, discussion, and question-answer method was able to increase students’ learning achievement in hidrocarbon discussion at X class of SMA N 3 Tapung.
