Item Analisis Aktivitas Dan Sikap Ilmiah Mahasiswa Dengan Model Pengajaran Langsung Berbasis Inkuiri Pada Mata Kuliah Sistematika Invertebrata(2013-07-11) Suryana, AdeThis research has purpose to know the activities and scientific attitude of students with Direct Instruction based Inquiry model on Invertebrate Systematics learning. This research is a descriptive research, that was conducted from March to June 2013. The samples in this research were the students of Biology Education who take course Invertebrate Systematics in academic year 2012/2013, amount to 110 students, who divided into 3 classes. Class A amount to 46 students, class B amount to 42 students and class C amount to 22 students. Parameters measured at this research were activities and scientific attitude of students. The data retrieval activities and scientific attitude of students using observation sheets and peer assessment questionnaires. The results showed that, activities of students in good category (78.23%) and the scientific attitude of students in good category (76.88%). Invertebrate Systematics learning with Direct Instruction based Inquiry model showed an increase in the activities of students learning and scientific attitude.Item Efektivitas Chitosan Kulit Udang Terhadap Nilai Gizi Bakso Sebagai Sumber Belajar Biologi Dengan Model Problem Based Learning Pada Konsep Makanan Dan Sistem Pencernaan(2013-03-13) Marta, EniChitosan is a natural preservative that is derived from the polysaccharide chitin that can be used as a preservative. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of chitosan shrimp shells of an nutritional value of was meatballs as a source of biological studies with a model of Problem Based Learning in food and digestive system concept. The research using experimental methods with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern, the first factor consisting of chitosan concentration of 0 g, 1 g, 2 g, 3 g, 4 g and 5 g. The second factor consists of soaking time 0 minutes, 30 minutes and 60 minutes, with 3 repitition. The parameters measured levels of protein, fat, water and organoleptic. Data analysis with ANOVA analysis, if there is a significant difference test was done up Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of 1% to determine the relationship between the concentration of chitosan with high levels of protein, fat and water doing by regression analysis with the model Y = a + bx. Results of research showed, chitosan increased levels of protein, fat levels in the meatballs. Instead giving chitosan can be lowers meatball water level. Organoleptic have good flavor, good texture, good colour and good taste. Result of the experiment can be using as an LTS learning material in senior high school (SMA) in the concept of food and digestive system.Item Efektivitas Fitoremediasi Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Dengan Menggunakan Tanaman Typha Angustifolia Terhadap Komposisi Dan Diversitas Mikro Arthropoda Tanah Sebagai Sumber Belajar(2013-03-13) Warniaty, DewiThis research is intended to find out the composition and diversity of Soil Micro Arthropods toward the phytoremediation of palm factory wastewater by used Typha angustifolia plant and the used of research finding as a learning source. This research was conducted in Laboratory Biology Education Riau University from July to December 2012. The model of this research is Constructed Treatment Wetland (CTW) in type of Free Water Surface (FWS), forward palm factory wastewater dischanged in each basin. The measured parameters are composition and diversity of soil Micro Arthropods and the soil physical and chemical factors including organic contents, pH and soil temperature. The research finding was analyzed descriptively as a learning source in subject of biodiversity. The research finding shows that there is improvement of the composition and diversity of soil Mikro Arthropods on the phytoremediation of wastewater. The research finding can be used as a teaching material in students exercise.Item Efektivitas Penambahan Madu Dan Susu Skim Terhadap Kadar Asam Laktat Dan Ph Yoghurt Kacang Hijau (Phaseolus Radiatus L.) Dengan Menggunakan Inokulum Streptococcus Thermophilus Dan Lactobacillus Bulgaricus(2013-04-03) Citra Dewi, ErlynThis research is to analyse effectiveness of honey and skim milk addition to levels of lactic acid and pH of yoghurt mung bean (Phaseolus radiatus L.) using by inoculum Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. Design the study is completely randomized design factorial with two factors and 3 replications. The first factor that is addition of honey 0%, 2.5%., 5%., and 7.5% and the second factor is addition of skim milk 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. The design response analyzed using ANOVA and tested further by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at level 5%. The result showed the addition of honey and skim milk significant effects to levels of lactic acid and pH. From the results concluded that the combination of honey 5% and skim milk 15% produces yogurt green beans with the best levels of lactic acid and pH of yoghurt mung bean.Item Fitoremediasi Limbah Cair Kelapa Sawit Dengan Typha Angustifolia Dalam Sistem Lahan Basah Buatan Sebagai Sumber Belajar Konsep Pencemaran Lingkungan Bagi Siswa Sma Kelas X(2013-03-28) Fitria, LeniResearch on phytoremediation of palm oil wastewater by Typha angustifolia within constructed wetland (CTW) as learning source for high school was conducted. The aim of this research is to observe potency of T. angustifolia within constructed wetland in improve palm oil wastewater quality. Free Water Surface of CTW was use in this research, compiled into one set that consist of 4 basin. Palm oil waste water was discharged into basin with Typha angustifolia plant respectively form: (A) Palm oil wastewater pass basin 1st, (B) Palm oil wastewater pass basin 2nd, (C) Palm oil wastewater pass basin 3rd, (D) Palm oil wastewater pass basin 4th. Parameter to be measured are BOD, COD, TSS, oil, and pH, analyzed at 1st, 4th, 8th, and 12th week after discharged. Data were analyzed by description analysis. The experiment results showed that BOD value was decrease attain 95.21%, COD value was decrease attain 91.36%, TSS value was decrease attain 99.07%, oil/grease value was decrease attain 94.09%, while pH value still within the range of quality standard. T. angustifolia could be used for palm oil wastewater treatment by phytoremediation. The research was conducted in April to June 2012 with research subjects are students of class X 3 Senior High School No. 5 Pekanbaru amounting to 33 people, consist of 16 male students and 17 female students. The parameters in this study is the scientific attitude of students consisting of six indicators of cooperation, honesty, discipline, responsibility, communicative and curiosity and creative thinking skills of students consisting of four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that the average scientific attitude of students in the first cycle is 69.52% (less category) increased to 83.15% (category enough). Average creative thinking skills of students has increased from the first cycle is 63.75% (less category) to 75.38% (less category). Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type of picture and picture to enhance scientific attitude and creative thinking skills of students in Biology subject in class X 3 Senior High School No. 5 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2011-2012.Item Integrasi Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Pembelajaran Kontekstual Dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad Ke-21 Pada Pembelajaran Biologi Di Kelas X.2 SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013(2013-08-19) Alvi, PrimayarniThere was applied the Class Action Research (CAR) in order to increase student’s 21 st century skill on students of grade X.2 at SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru of Educational Year 2012/2013 by applying integrated character education building through contextual teaching and learning. Subject of the research, which was conducted on April to May 2013, were students of grade X.2 SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru, which consist of 40 students (13 boys and 23 girls). 21 st century skill parameter contains 5 elements, those are; digital era literacy, inventif thought, effective communication, high productivity, and religious. Data colection in this research are; observation form, grade product form, 21 st century skill test form. Result of the research discover that on average students 21 st century skill at first cycle at 63.49 % (very low), increased on second cycle to 72.69 % (low), on productivity grade at first cycle showed 73 % (enough) and contribute an increase on the second cycle at 80.5 % (enough), on 21 st century skill test at first cycle was 73.67 % (low) and become 78 % (enough) on the second cycle. The method used in this study is a survey method, where data collection is done by interview and direct observation. The parameters measured were the way of management and public perception of the existence of Indigenous Rimbo Tujuh Danau Forest. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that local wisdom is participatory by society by creating custom rules in the management of Indigenous Rimbo Tujuh Danau Forest. Public perception of the existence of Indigenous Rimbo Tujuh Danau Forest is very good / positive. There were 13 samples has been taken by using purposive sampling technique in this descriptive research. The secondary data were taken from Biology class at semester 1, grade XI. The data were collected by using Teachers Capability Assessment Instrument (IPKG) that consist by 6 indicator; (1) Formulating learning objectives, (2) Developing and organizing the material, media, and learning resources, (3) Planning the learning scenario, (4) Designing the class management, (5) Planning the procedures and preparing the assessment’s tool , (6) Document images. The IPKG’s assessment is using gradual scale, and interpreted with the range of competences value. The result shows that the the competencies of Biology teachers Public Senior High Schools in making of lesson plans was quit good (the average 3.24). This result reveal that the Biology teachers Public Senior High Schools were able to prepare the Lesson Plan. This research is descriptive. The research sample was 46 students from biology class of 2009 by using purposive sampling. Parameter data of the study is the ability of students in the subject of Biology and P3B Review of the curriculum consisting of value assignments, quizzes value, the value of UTS, the value of UAS. To find out the data analysis was calculated using the following formula Product Moment Correlation and to collect primary data obtained through open questionnaire. Research shows that the correlation between students 'ability to study curriculum P3B very high with a value 0.93 at 5% level, while the students' perceptions of the role of the curriculum is good indicator (3.18), the indicator of learning (Review of the Curriculum) is sufficient (2.68), indicators and judgment in designing the study of learning in the course curriculum of biology and P3B enough (2.46), indicators of learning devices (P3B) was good (2.81), and the indicators are good teaching material (2.74). From the research it can be concluded that the correlation between the ability of students to study the course curriculum and P3B very high correlation and students' perceptions of the ability of the study subjects with P3B curriculum is good.Item Korelasi Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Pada Mata Kuliah Struktur Hewan Dengan Perkembangan Hewan Di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UR 2012/2013(2013-08-19) Anggriani, Selfia FThe purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of Student Learning Outcomes between Animal Structure and an Animal Development subject conducted in Biology Education in Guidance and Counseling the University of Riau in March-June 2013. This research is a descriptive correlational study. The sample was 50 students from biology class of 2010 by using purposive sampling technique. Parameter data of the study are student learning outcomes in animal structure and animal development subject consisting of the average score of task, the average score of quiz, Mid-term score (UTS), the score of the final-term (UAS). The instruments of data collection such as secondary data are using data documentation of student learning outcomes include average score of task, quiz average value, the mid-term score and the final-term score calculated by the formula of product moment correlation and prim ary data obtained through closed questionnaire as supporting data. The results showed that the difference of correlation index, it could be seen at the 5% significance level of the correlation coefficient on the average score of the task is weak (0.22), th e coefficient of the correlation on the average score of quiz was classified as very weak (0.05), the coefficient of correlation on the mid-term score (UTS) has a sufficient correlation (0.52), the coefficient of correlation on the final-term score (UAS) has a sufficient correlation (0.55) and the coefficient of correlation on the total value has a strong correlation (0,64). It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation with the total value of the animal structure and animal development subject (0,64).Item Learnings Model Implement Kooperatif With Strategy Quick On The Draw To Increase Activity And Student Studying Result Brazes VII 1 SMP Is Country 1 Ujung Batu T.A 2012 / 2013(2013-07-05) Gustini, LindaThis research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the biological activity and learning outcomes with the implementation of cooperative learning strategies on Quick On The Draw class VII.1 SMPN1 Ujungbatu Academic Year 2012/2013. The experiment was conducted in March to April 2013. The subjects were students of class VII 1 SMP 1 Ujungbatu who were 30 students, consisting of 7 male students and 23 female students. Parameters measured were student activity that consists of 4 indicators and student learning outcomes consisting absorption, mastery learning of individual students as well as teachers' activities. The average activity of students in the first cycle is 85.10% (very good) increased in the second cycle with an average of 88.75% (very good). Absorption of students in the first cycle is 85.75% (very good), increased to 88.91% (very good). Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 100% (complete) at the second cycle is 100% (complete). Activities of teachers in the first cycle with the average of 92.80% (very good) in the second cycle increased 100% (very good). From the research it can be concluded that the application of learning models with Quick On The Draw strategy can increase the activity and student learning outcomes VII.1 class SMPN1 Ujungbatu Academic Year 2012/2013Item Pemanfaatan Alat Dan Bahan Pada Pelaksanaan Praktikum Mata Kuliah Keahlian Dan Keterampilan (MKK) Di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi(2013-08-19) Wahyuny, RenyThis research has purpose to know the use of tools and materials at practical work in the course of skill and competent at Biologi Education program, this research was conducted from march to june 2013, Parameters measured atthis research wereavailability of tools and material for the lab, the effectiveness and efficiency of equipment and materials for the lab, and maintenance of equipment and materials for the lab. The data retrieval using documentation of data collection techniques, observation techniques and closed questionnaire. Result indicate the availability of tools and materials in practical implementation of the course skill and competent (MKK) reached the optimal criteria with average 72,84%, the effectiveness and efficiency of equipment and materials for the lab on the implementation of the course skill and competent (MKK) achieve optimal criteria with average 76,39%, while the maintenance of equipment and materials on the implementations of the course skill and competent (MKK) reached the optimal criteria with average 62,19%. The concluded of this research are the use of tools and materials at practical work in the course of skill and competent (MKK) at Biologi Education program reach the optimal criteria with average 70,47 %Item Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Cooperatif SCRIPT Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VII5 SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013(2013-07-02) SriniThis research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the biological activity and learning outcomes of students with learning model cooperatif Script implementation on SMP VII5 class Pekanbaru 14 Academic Year 2012/2013. The research was conducted in April-May 2013. The subjects were 14 grade students VII5 SMP Pekanbaru, amounting to 32 people (15 students and 17 female students). Parameters measured were student activity consisting of 6 indicators and student learning outcomes consisting of absorption, mastery learning of individual students as well as teachers' activities. The average activity of students in the first cycle is 78.75% (average) increase in cycle II with an average activity of students is 91.92% (excellent). Absorption of students in the first cycle is 77.56 (enough) increased to 82.75 (enough). Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 59.38% (completed) increased in the second cycle to 81.25% (complete). Teachers activities in the first cycle with the average of 94.4% (very good) increased in the second cycle is 95.8% (very good). This research is a classroom action research was conducted in October-November 2012. The subjects were students of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru X.2 class numbering 30 people consisting of 12 students and 18 female students. The research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments. Research procedure consists of the planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. Parameter study consisted of student activities, teacher activities and learning outcomes. The results show the average activity in the first cycle is 81.91% (average) increase in cycle II with an average activity of students is 88.12% (excellent). Average absorption of the first cycle students are 66.81% (average) and increased in the second cycle with an average 82.16% (excellent).Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 63.33% (complete) and 36.67% (not finished), and the second cycle increased to 100% (complete). I cycle a group award for four groups earn great rewards and a group of super honored. In the second cycle all super group awarded. Activities of teachers in the first cycle with the average of 92.85% (excellent) on the second cycle increased to 100% (very good). The research was conducted on 27 March 2012 to 30 April 2012. The subject in this study were 37 students class VII5 of SMP Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru. The parameters in this study are motivation and scientific attitude. The indicators of motivation are challenge, curiosity, participation and controls. The indicators of scientific attitude are responsibility, curiosity, cooperation, honesty and discipline. Average score of the students motivation before the application of the learning cycle is 2,66 (low category) increased in the first cycle to 3,39 (enough category) with an increasing percentage of 27,50%, and increased again in the second cycle to be 3,68 (enough category) with an increase percentage of 8,63%. Average scores of student’s scientific attitude from questionnaire before application learning cycle is 67,78% (enough category), increased in the first cycle to 73,08% (good category) with an increasing percentage of 7,81%, and increased again in second cycle to be 80,04% (good category) with an increasing percentage of 8,69%. Average score of the student’s scientific attitude from observation in the first cycle is 63,03% (enough category) increased in second cycle to be 74,76% (good category). This research was conducted in October-November 2012. The subject of this research was student of class VIII7 of SMP 14 Pekanbaru. The number of students was 32 students (15 boys and 17 girls). The Parameter was students scientific behaviour that consits of 7 indicators and students studying achievement consisted of comprehension ability, students passing individually and teachers activities. The average of students behaviour in cycle 1 was 78.57% (moderate) increased in cycle 2 in the average of 89.39% (good). Students comprehension ability in cycle 1 was 77.84% (moderate) increased became 83.21% (moderate). The students passing studying in cycle 1 was 59.38% (pass) increased in cycle 2 became 81.25% (pass). Average of teachers activities in cycle 1 was 90.62% (good) increased in cycle 2 became100% (very good). From the result of this research it can be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry can improve the students scientific behaviour and students biology studying achievements in class VIII7 SMP 14 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2012/2013.Item Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) Untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Ilmiah Dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013(2013-07-01) MarsiahThe purpose of this research is to improve students’ scientific attitude and learning achievement in biology at grade VII 7 Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru on academic year 2012/2013 through the implementation of Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ). This research is a classroom action research which was conducted on April-May 2013. The subjects of the research are students at grade VII7 Junior High School 17 Pekanbaru that consist of 40 students (17 males and 23 females). The parameters in this research are scientific attitude, learning achievement, students and teacher’s activities. The research instruments consist of teaching and learning stuffs and test. The procedures of the research are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The technique of data analysis refers to students’ scientific attitude and learning achievement. Then the average score of students’ scientific attitude first cycle is 67,01 % (enough) and second cycle is 77,86 % (good). The average score of students’ intake in first cycle is 76,75% (enough) and second cycle is 83,03 % (good). The average score of students’ ability in mastering the lesson first cycle is 67,50 % (passed) and 32,50 % (failed). Moreover, the average score of students’ ability in mastering the lesson second cycle is 80 % (passed) and 20 % (failed). Furthermore, the average score of students’ activities in first cycle is 69,38 % (enough) and in second cycle is 82,11 % (good). The last, the teacher’s activities first cycle is 88,45 % (good) and second cycle is 100% (very good). The experiments were performed using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with factorial pattern. The first factor is 2.4 D which consists of three standard treatments of 0 ppm, ppm 0.25 and 0.5 ppm. The second factor is Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP), which also consists of 3 level of treatment that is 0 ppm, 3 ppm and 5 ppm. Parameters measured were time study appeared shoots, number of shoots regenerated (Shoots/ explants) and shoots high. The results were analyzed using one way ANOVAwith further test DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%. The results showed treatment with 3 ppm BAP produced the fastest time of emerging shoots 14.5 HST and produces the highest average number of shoot /explant 5.38 buds. As for the best high of buds produced by combination of 0.25 ppm 2.4 D - 3 ppm BAP is the average height 1.74 cm. The best treatment for shoot multiplication explants dragon fruit is at a concentration of 0 ppm 2.4 D - 3 ppm BAP emerging shoots with average 14.05 HST (days after planting) the average number number of shoots regenerated (Shoots/ explants) 5.38 buds and the mean height 1.68 cm.
