Item Abundance Of Dog Conch (Strombus turturella) in Coastal Area Tanjungpinang Kota Subdistrict, Tanjungpinang City. Kepulauan Riau Province(2013-05-30) Arianti, Nisha DesfiA research aims to determine the abundance of Dog Conch (Strombus turturella) and its relationship with water quality in the coastal area of the Tanjungpinang Kota Sub District was conducted in December 2012 to January 2013. The method used in this research is a survey method. Water quality parameters measured were temperature, turbidity, pH, salinity and DO, while Dog Conch (Strombus turturella) studied were abundance. Result shown that abundance of the Dog Conch (Strombus turturella) ranged from 31852 ind/ha – 37407 ind/ha. Water quality parameters are as follow: temperature ranged from 28,3 to 32,00 ° C; salinity ranged from 24,33 to 29,67 ‰; turbidity ranged from 5 - 11 NTU; dissolved oxygen ranged from 1,73 – 2,33 mg/l. Organic materials present in the substrate ranged from 28,80 - 49,07 %. Turbidity level were more than the standard issued by Indonesian Government (KepMen LH No.51. 2004). Based on data obtained, it can be concluded that the waters around the Tanjungpinang Kota Sub District is slightly pollutedItem The abundance of plankton in container pond with bottom podzolic red yellow soil on the basis of pond ages and CaCO3 liming(2013-06-07) Hadis, AbdulThis research was conducted from October to November 2012 at Environmental Quality Cultivation Laboratory Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The purpose of this study was to determine the abundance of phytoplankton in the podzolic red yellow soil (PMK) with difference age of ponds and limings by Boyd (1979). Experimental method was used and complete random design (CRD) was applied. The treatments consist of pond ages ranging from 0-5 years old for O1; 6-10 years for O2; 11-15 years for O3; 16-20 years for O4. The results showed that 13 species were found and it consisted of Chlorophytes (7 species), Cyanophytes (5 species), and Bacillariophytes (1 species). The peak population was found at 10th days on the treatment with liming meanwhile at 8th days on the treatment without liming in average; - They were 16.060 ind/l and 10.463 ind/l in average respectively. Furthermore, the highest abundance of phytoplankton can be seen on the treatment O4 (16-20 years old pond) both for liming and without liming. In conclusion, the older the pond with liming was better than the younger the pond without liming.Item ANALISIS BAKTERI Clostridium perfringens PADA IKAN TENGGIRI (Cybium commersoni) DI PERAIRAN BENGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2013-01-29) SepdwilisariBengkalis is one of the largest fish producer in the province of Riau with the amount of fishery production in 2009 from the arrest of 9443.80 tonnes. One of the marine fishery commodities needs to be known and widely used potential is mackerel. This study aimed to analyze the bacteria carried C. perfringens in fish mackerel in the waters Bengkalis. The benefits of research that can inform the presence of bacteria C. perfringens on mackerel fish (C. commersoni) and provide information on the whereabouts of the fishery and public health Bengkalis. The method used in this study is a survey method, where data obtained by direct observation in the field and analysis of bacterial C. perfringens in Marine Microbiology Laboratory. The results showed that the number of bacteria found in the digestive tract mackerel (C. commersonni) with a total of 1.0 x 107 cfu / ml, the number of bacteria in the gills contained 5.1 x 106 cfu / ml, while the number of bacteria found on meat 1.6 x 105 cfu / ml. Based on the results of this study concluded the number of bacteria C. perfringens in the digestive mackerel resulted in a suitable environment to accelerate the growth of the bacteria C. perfringens.Item ANALISIS BAKTERI Clostridium perfringens PADA SEDIMEN DI PERAIRAN BENGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2013-01-07) Daulay, HarisThe research was conducted in April 2012 in water of Bengkalis, Riau Province. This research aims to analyze of Clostridium perfringens on sediments of water in The Bengkalis coastal, Riau Provinces. Sediments of water were collected from Bengkalis coastal and then analyzed bacteriologically in The Marine Microbiology Laboratory of Marine Center. The data obtained by observation, measurement and sampling in the field, followed by the identification C. perfringens. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The C. perfringens counts varied according to types of sediments and location sampling. The inoculation thecnique is surface plate method on TSC Agar. The species identification included morphological, observation, fisical and biochemical test. The distribution of C. perfringens is connected of with coastal oceanography condition. The counts ranged from 3,9 x 104 - 6,1 x 104 cell/grams in sediments of water. The highest C. perfringens counts was found on water of Damon, Rimba Sekampung and Kelapa Pati Villages.Item ANALISIS BAKTERI Clostridium perfringens PERAIRAN SELAT BARU KECAMATAN BANTAN KABUPATEN BENGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2013-02-01) Siahaan, Deasy MelinaAnalysis of Clostridium perfringens in Selat Baru held in May 2012 and analyzes were conducted at the Marine Microbiology Laboratory of Marine Science, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Riau University. The results showed that the amount of bacteria ranged from 3,0 x 103 to 1,1 x 107 cfu/ml. Given that the trend of the number of bacterial colonies on the surface of the waters of the most abundant in station 3. Rod-shaped cells or chains and gram-positive bacteria with negative test motility, positive catalase, positive H2S test and positive methyl red test. While the results of water parameters were 31oC temperature, depth 2.7 m, pH 6, salinity 25.66 ‰, brightness of 69.33 cm and flow velocity 0.11 m/sec.Item ANALISIS BAKTERI PEMBENTUK HISTAMIN PADA IKAN TONGKOL DI PERAIRAN PASIE NAN TIGO KOTO TANGAH PADANG SUMATERA BARAT(2013-01-07) Kurniawan, RomiTuna is one food that is consumed and if left at room temperature, then a process of deterioration to rot. Fish that has undergone a process of decay, when consumed can cause poisoning. Poisoning is caused by contamination with pathogenic bacteria decarboxylated amino acid histidine by the enzyme histidine decarboxylase produce histamine. The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth of histamine-forming bacteria in tuna that can cause disruption to public health. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a non-factorial completely randomized design by using 6 samples of tuna and 3 repetitions. Analysis of total histamine forming bacteria that has been done, where the selection results showed that a total of 6 samples of bacteria tuna ranged between 4.4x104 - 1.83x106 cells / gram. The total yield of bacteria that form is still below the threshold (less than or equal to 106). The results of this research can be a guide for further research using niven medium was modified in order to detect histamine-forming bacteria betterItem ANALISIS KANDUNGAN LOGAM Pb DAN Cu PADA AIR DAN SEDIMEN DI PERAIRAN MANTANG KABUPATEN BINTAN PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU ANALYSIS CONCENTRATION OF HEAVY METAL Pb AND Cu IN SEAWATER AND SEDIMENT OF MANTANG COASTAL WATERS RIAU ARCHIPELAGO PROVINCE(2013-05-27) sandilla, RizaThis research was conducted on March 2013. Samples of seawater and sediment were collected from Mantang coastal waters, Riau Archipelago and analyzed for their Pb and Cu concentrations in UPT Pengujian Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Laboratory Riau Province Pekanbaru using AAS shimadzu AA-7000. The results showed that Pb concentrations in seawater and sediment were higher in station closed to Station 2 (0,707 mg/L and 13,137 μg/g) respectively than that in other stations. Cu concentrations in seawater were higher in station 1 (0,05 mg/L) and concentrations in sediment were higher in station 2 (10,140 μg/g). Concentrations of Pb and Cu in water of Mantang coastal waters were still higher than Kepmen LH No 51, 2004 values. Concentrations of Pb and Cu in sediment of Mantang coastal waters were still lower than IADC/CEDA (1997) values. which can be concluded that Mantang coastal waters does not have bad impact to organisms living in the surrounding area.Item ANALISIS KANDUNGAN LOGAM Pb, Cu DAN Zn PADA AIR LAUT DAN SEDIMEN DI PERAIRAN TELUK PANGKE KABUPATEN KARIMUN PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU(2013-07-31) Wijaya, Bambang; Bintal Amin; Syahril NediThis research was conducted on April 2013. Sampel of sea water and sediment were taken fromPangke Bay waters Karimun Regency, Riau Archipelago. Analysis of heavy metal concentration was carried out in Marine Chemistry Laboratory Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau by using an Atomic Absortion Spectrophotometer Perkin Elmer 3110. The results showed that highest consentration of Pb and Zn insea water was found in around PT. Saipem Indonesia waters (0,0623 mg/L and 0,4937 mg/L) and concentration of Cu was highest in PT. Pacific Granita port (0,0390 mg/L). Whilst the highest concentration of Pb was found in around PT. Saipem Indonesia waters (8,6333µg/g), Cu in anthropogenic activities area (2,5766 µg/g) and Zn in PT. Pacific Granita port (8,8500 µg/g).The lowest concentration of Pb, Cu and Zn was found in station nearby mangrove area and far from industrial activities (0,0487, 0,0146 and 0,0397 mg/L for sea water and 3,3500, 0,6183 and 5,8000 μg/g for sediment) for Pb,Cu and Zn respectively. Concentrations of Pb, Cu and Zn in sediment of Pangke Bay were still lower than ERL and ERM values which can be concluded that Pangke Bay waters does not have negative impact to organisms living in the surrounding area.Item Analisis Kandungan Minyak Pada Air dan Sedimen di Perairan Sekitar Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang Sumatera Barat(2013-01-07) Ariani, FitriA study on the oil content in water and sediment were carried out around Bungus Bay in April 2012. The purpose of the study was to provide baseline data on environmental quality of the Bungus Bay. It revealed that the highest oil content found in Pertamina point (0.5300 ppm), while the lowest found in residential area (0.3530 ppm), sediment oil of content was highest in residential region (2035.8632 ppm). According to standard quality value of sea water, oil content of water has not exceeded the threshold value (<5 ppm) and oil content of sediment has exceeded the threshold value (>100 ppm).Item ANALISIS KELAYAKAN BUDIDAYA IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus) DALAM KERAMBA JARING APUNG DI DESA SILALAHI III KECAMATAN SILAHISABUNGAN KABUPATEN DAIRI PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA(2013-07-16) Tamba, SudiarnoThis research was conducted on 3rd until 10th January 2013. This study aims to determine how much of the investment and operational costs , feasibility and problems faced by fish farmers in the cultivation of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in floating net cages in Silalahi III village. The method used in this research is a stratified random sampling method with respondents are 8 farmers were divided into 3 categories. The results of this research indicate that business investment tilapia farming in floating cages for cultivation category I is Rp.82.743.750,-/unit cultivation with operational costs Rp.66.846.917,-/period, for category II the investments be required Rp.167 928 125,-/unit cultivation with operational costs Rp.130.933.792,-/period and investments for the cultivation of category III is Rp.397.521.250,-/unit cultivation with operational cost Rp.317.654.250,-/period. The value BCR of tilapia fish farmers in the village Silalahi III is between 1.1968 until 1.234, value of FRR is 31.79% until 37.41% and the value of PPC 5.35 period until 6.29 to period. Based on the analysis of the research, we conclude that the business is financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The cultivation are most feasible to be developed based on the results of the analysis of feasible is a cultivation that occupied by farmers category III with BCR value is 1,2340, FRR 37.41%/year and PPC is 2 years and 8 months. The problems faced by farmers in the cultivation is a mortality of seeds cause the seed can not adapt to the environment and the farmers have not been able to deal with a disease that occurs in fishItem ANALISIS KOMPOSISI HASIL TANGKAPAN RAWAI (LONG LINE) PAGI DAN SIANG HARI DI PERAIRAN TELUK PAMBANG KECAMATAN BANTAN KABUPATEN BENGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2012-12-07) Yanti, NurlelaThe research was conducted on August 27th in Teluk Pambang Bantan Bengkalis District of Riau Province. The method used in this research is a survey and research conducted for 5 consecutive days. This study aims to analyze the composition of longline catches in the morning and afternoon. These results obtained to serve as information material to those in need. The results of research on the composition of longline catches in the morning is 28.7 kg (3 fishes), while during the afternoon 8.7 kg (3 fishes). Rawai keong fishing gear consisting of main line, buoy , buoy line, flag , conch shells and anchors.Item Analisis Saluran Pencernaan Ikan Selinca (Belontia hasselti) dari kanal sawit di Desa Terantang Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau Stomach analysis of Belontia hasselti captured in the palm plantation canals at Terantang Village, Tambang Sub-Regency, Kampar Regency, Riau Province(2012-11-26) Azwar, DelpiA study aims to understand stomach analysis of Belontia hassellty present in the drainage canals of palm plantation in the Terantang Village has been conducted on February to April 2012. Fish samples were captured using bamboo fish trap, once/ week for a 4 month period. There were 123 fishes (102 males and 21 females) captured and TL is ranged from 52 to146 mm and BW ranged from 2 to 68 gr. Fish stomach was removed and stomach content was analyzed using volumetric, occurence frequency. Stomach content of fish is related to their size. In small fish (TL less than 135 mm), the main food is plankton. In the relatively bigger fish (TL more than 136 mm), the main food crustacean. Preponderance Index in the fish in general was chlorophyta 45.14%, cyanophyta 20.23%, basillariophyta 22.89%, crustacea 11.40%, rotifera 0,20%, and insecta 0.15%. based on data obtained, it can be concluded that Belontia hasseltii is omnivorous but it tend to be herbivorous.Item ANALISIS SISTEM PEMASARAN IKAN PATIN ASAP (Pangasius Sutchi) DI SENTRA PENGOLAHAN PASCA PANEN DESA KOTO MESJID KECAMATAN XIII KOTO KAMPAR KABUPATEN KAMPAR PROVINSI RIAU(2013-06-08) Muliono, DedekThe research was conducted at 8th – 16th January 2013 in processing center time after harvest Koto Mesjid village and in some market, the marketing purpose is Kuok market, Air Tiris market and Pekanbaru city. The purpose of the research was to know marketing path, market share (distribution of prices), marketing system and marketing efficiency. Respondent in this research was smoke catfish stake holder, sales and consumer with respondent totally 21 respondent people. This research used survey method. The survey results revealed that there are three chain marketing direct marketing chains (A Zero Level Chanel), the level of the marketing chain (A One Level Chanel), two levels of the marketing chain (A Two Level Chanel), the smoke catfish marketing focus on 3 area was Kuok market, Air Tiris market, and Pekanbaru. Market share value was gotten in marketing area Kuok market was 76,92 - 80,88 %, Air Tiris market 77,27 – 81,97 %, and Pekanbaru area 80,88 % - 82,86 %. The marketing margin value was gotten to marketing area Kuok market was 17,65 % - 23,81%, Air Tiris market 18,84% - 21,21%, and Pekanbaru 14, 29%-19,12%. Benefits received by distributor was Rp. 3.636.640 – Rp. 9.098.670/month, and retailer Rp. 1.213.400 – Rp. 1.680.000/month. Efficiency value for distributor was 0,71% - 10,18% and retailer 1,55% - 3,07%.Item ANALYSIS CONSTRUCTION LONG LINER 5 GT IN COUNTRYSIDE BAY OF PAMBANG SUB-PROVINCE OF BEGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2013-01-11) Hendra Sumali, DepiThis research was conducted on July until August 2012, at Teluk Pambang Bay Village. The aims of the reseach was to comparid construction of 5 GT traditoinal fishing vessel towards the rules issued by BKI. The results showed the raw material used at the long liner as keel, stem, stern, hanging rib, stranger beam, shell, deck and sheer strake was punak (Tetramerista glabra Miq), laban (Vitex pubescens Vahl), mangrove meranti (Shorea platiclados), meranti flowers (Shorea.sp), and red nyirih (Xylocarpus granatum). The construction measurment L(B/3+H) = 19.96 m2, Was Includes to multifunctional vessel type (multy purpose vessel). Some of its measurement was not satisfy BKI standart, for example, keel, stem, stringger beam, shell, deck and sheer strake. The part that satify materials and size was horizontal knee and frame but its space relatively longer namely 500-600 mm. It should be reduced until 280 mm.Item ANALYSIS OF BUTTERFLY FISH (CHAETODONTIDAE) ABUNDANCE IN THE CORAL REEF ECOSYSTEM IN BERALAS PASIR ISLAND BINTAN REGENCY(2013-07-20) Simbolon, Surya AsriObservation was conducted to determine the abundance of Butterfly fish (Chaetodontidae) and live coral cover, and to see the comparison of the aboundance of the butterlfy fish among three different station in Beralas Pasir Island regency Bintan in May 2013. Based on the results of the research was found that Chaetodontidae fish species consisted of two genera, three species namely Chaetodon octovactiatus, Chaetodon decussatus, and Chelmon rostratus. Chaetodontidae abundance was found 0.088 ind/m2 with categorized slightly and the percentage of live coral cover of 47.56% which is considered moderate.Item Analysis of Development of Lates calcarifer Fish Farming Enterprises Group KONSIP Pen culture In The Village Sialang Pasung District Rangsang Barat Meranti Islands in Riau Province(2013-01-21) Maria, ElisaThe research was conducted in March 2012 in the Village Sialang Pasung Rangsang Barat Meranti Islands in Riau Province, which aims to see the development and cultivation of relationships and influence on the inputs (seed and feed) and output (production). methods used in this research is the case study method with which respondents are KONSIP group chairman and members of the group. The result of this research is the development of cultivation from year to year despite reduced KONSIP group members, the association number (input) Seed and Feed Against (output) Lates calcarifer fish Production (Lates calcarifer) Pen culture In the relatively strong correlation with the level of very real ie ρ (0.02) ≤ α (0.05). With determination R2 is 0.95 and the influence Number of inputs (seeds) and Forage against output (production) Lates calcarifer The Pen culture can be seen from the calculated F (29.342)> F-table (0.011), this shows that all the independent variables simultaneously significantly affect production at 95.2% confidence levelItem ANALYSIS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SURFACE SEDIMENT IN ROKAN HILIR AND BENGKALIS WATERS PROVINCE OF RIAU ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK SEDIMEN PERMUKAAN DASAR DI PERAIRAN ROKAN HILIR DAN BENGKALIS PROVINSI RIAU(2013-07-20) Azim, ZulThe research was conducted on November 2012 in Rokan Hilir and Bengkalis Waters of Province Riau. The aim of this research was to describe the sedimentary enviroment in Rokan Hilir and Bengkalis waters. Sediment sample obtained from 4 station in Rokan Hilir water and 4 stasion in Bengkalis was using mechanical analysis. Q-mode cluster analysis was carried out based on mean diameter, sorting, skewnes and kurtosis. Based on result of Cluster Analysis, the research area were dividied into the following three area. 1) area located around fishing area, Liong estuary and Malacca strait, characterized by very fine grained sediment, influenced by unstable bottom currents and very weak tidal currents, 2) the area located around settlement areas, characterized by very fine grained sediment, influenced by unstable bottom currents but unsignificant and weak tidal current, and 3) area located around Malacca strait, fishing area and Rokan estuary, characterized by very fine grained sediment, influenced by ustable bottom currents and very weak tidal currents.Item ANALYSIS OF THE CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN OF FISHING GEAR DRIFT GILLNET ARE USED IN WATERS KUALA KAMPAR, KUALA KAMPAR SUB DISTRICTS, PELALAWAN DISTRICTS RIAU PROVINCE(2013-06-25) Khairi, Febria; Yusuf Syofyan; NofrizalThis research was conducted on 26 June – 5 July 2011 at Village Teluk, Kuala Kampar sub district, Pelalawandistrict in Riau Province. This research aims to examine the construction of drift gillnet fishing gear resulting in a drift gillnet new design. The Method used in this research is a survey method is by directly observing FISHING gear drift gillnet used by fishermen at Teluk Village. Characteristics nets studied and the data are compared according to the discussion of literature study that resulted in the design of fishing gear drift gillnet new. From the comparison there are several differences as follows: webbing; mesh size, the number of mesh size (MD and ML), weight and knot nets. Line rigging; structural line as well as the amount of line ris up and strap ris down below. Buoys; Amount buoys and distance installation. Ballast; Amount weights and distances installation. Peluntang; Amount bouys and distance installation.Item ANALYSIS ORGANIC MATERIALS AND COMMUNITY STRUCTURE IN THE MANGROVE SWAMP OF MAKROZOOBENTHOS IN ROKAN HILIR REGENCY(2013-01-21) Azian, MeliaThe research was conducted in July 2012 in the area of mangrove swamp of Halang Island, Rokan Hilir Regency. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between sedimentary organic matter and makrozoobenthos diversity in the mangrove of Halang Muka Island and Halang Belakang Island. The results showed that the relations his of organic sediment and abundance of makrzoobenthos showed a strong and positive correlation , wheres mean that increased organic matter will increase the abundance of makrozoobenthos. More species were also found well the greater diversity as the organic increased sedimentary.
