Item ANALISIS LOGAM (Mn, Cd), SIANIDA DAN NITRIT PADA LIMBAH CAIR TAMBANG BATUBARA PT. TRI BAKTI SARIMAS (TBS) DI PANGKALAN KUANSING(2013-07-26) Rukmana, T. R.; Itnawita; Anita, S.PT. Tri Bakti Sarimas (TBS) coals mining at Kuantan Singingi Regency have produced liquid waste that containing of hazardous heavy metals. The company has made four ponds as water treatment. Efficiency of waste treatment installation (IPAL) from this industry could be determined by identificating the content of heavy metals (Mn and Cd), cyanide and nitric contents at liquid waste reservoir inlet and outlet. Determination of Mn and Cd in this research is done by using Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS), while UV-Vis spectrophotometer is used to analyze for CN- and NO2-. Mn, Cd, cyanide and nitric contents at inlet were 7,952; 1,980; 0,045; and 0,333 mg/L respectively. Mn, Cd, cyanide and nitric contents at outlet were 3,333; 0,120; 0,018 mg/L respectively with no cyanide detected. Waste water treatment by using the method of dolomite as an adsorbent in PT. TBS have shown the remarkable result of efficiency, especially for Cd with removal percent 93,939%.Item ANALISIS SENG(Zn), KROM (Cr) DAN KOBAL (Co) PADA SEDIMEN KOLAM INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH (IPAL) TPA MUARA FAJAR PEKANBARU(2013-07-20) Zulkarnain; Bali, S.; Hanifah, T. A.The advantages of sediment that formed by leachate water precipitation n waste reservoir ponds could be determined through analysis of metal content which ere obtained from decomposition process of garbage piles. The sediment samples were, collected from TPA Muara Fajar Rumbai-Pekanbaru, from four ponds and eight sampling points were then choosen from each pond. All samples were destructed by adding nitric acid (HNO3 1:1) and chloride acid (HCl 1:1), to analyze the content of heavy metals, and then measured by using UV-Vis spectrophotometer for Cr content, atomic absorption spectrophotometer was used for Co and Zn content. Our results showed that four samples contained Cr and Zn with different concentrations while Co was not detected. Zn content of sediment samples were ranged between 0.5899 to 0.6625 mg/g while Cr content was ranged between 0.1363 to 0.4029 mg/g. These results showed that the sediment could be used as a fertilizer for city ornament plants .Item POTENSI TANAMAN GENJER (Limnocharis flava, (L.) Buch) SEBAGAI FITOREMEDIATOR ION KADMIUM (II), KROMIUM (VI) DAN TIMBAL (II)(2017-01-09) Lestari, Ayu; Anita, Sofia; Hanifah, T. AbuPhytoremediation is cost-effective and environmentally technology that use plants to clean up the environment. One of the plant that has potency as phytoremediator is (Limnocharis flava (L.) Buch) or also known as Genjer. The aim of this study was to determine the ability of genjer as phytoremediator of Cd (II), Cr (VI) and Pb (II) based on contact time (exposure period) variations (0, 3, 6 and 12) days. The concentration of Cd (II) and Pb (II) were analyzed by Atomic Absorption of Spectrophotometry (AAS) and Cr (VI) was analyzed using UV-Vis (UV Visible Spectrophotometry). The results showed that maximum absorption efficiency for Cd (II), Cr (VI) and Pb (II) were 83,70%; 43,98% and 90,31%, respectively (day 6). BCF (Bioconcentration Factor) result showed that Cd (II), Cr (VI) and Pb (II) value were > 1 (one). It is showed that genjer can be categorized as hyperaccumulator plant.
