Item UJI KESEHATAN DAN DAYA KECAMBAH BENIH BEBERAPA VARIETAS CABAIMERAH (Capsicum annuum L.)(2013-02-18) ISKANDARI, HENIRed pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of vegetables that are the result has a high economic value and market opportunities are good, but much damaged by pests (OPT) can damage and disrupt the growth of red pepper. Pest attack can cause damage to the plant and reduce production. Several types of pests from the group of microorganisms can infect the fruit or seeds which can then be carried or transmitted by seed. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of pathogens that attack the seed of some varieties of chili peppers and the percentage of attack and find out the relationship with the pathogen attack percentage germination of seeds. This study was conducted in July - October 2010 by using completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consisted of hot pepper varieties TM-999 (VI), Laris (V2), Wire (V3), Ferosa (V4) and the Local Varieties of Chili (V5). Based on the research found four kinds of pathogenic fungi and two species of fungal pathogen Sclerotium sp, Rhizoctonia sp, Fusarium sp and Colletotrichum capsici. Corynebacterium sp bacterium and Ralstonia solanacearum fungal attack percentage was the highest Sclerotium sp Ferosa varieties, fungus Rhizoctonia sp attack is highest Wire varieties, the fungus Fusarium sp attack is the highest local varieties of hot pepper and Colletotrichum capsici fungal attack percentage was the highest local varieties of hot pepper. The percentage of bacteria Corynebacterium sp attack the highest are varieties of TM-999 and the percentage of Ralstonia solanacearum attacks the highest are varieties Laris. The percentage of normal seed germination of the most high against fungal attack is a variety TM- 999. The percentage of normal seed germination of the most high against bacterial attack is a local hot pepper varieties. Fungal attack Sclerotium sp, Colletotrichum capsici and Fusarium sp negatively correlated less strongly to the normal seed germination. The attack fungus Rhizoctonia sp negatively correlated strongly to the normal seed germination. Attacks bacteria Corynebacterium sp and Ralstonia solanacearum negatively correlated less strongly to the normal seed germination.
