The purpose of this research was to know if the making of Guidd Note-taking could increase student achievement in hydrocarbon topic. Subject of this research were students at X4 class was randomly selected as experiment class and X5 class as control class. Research result revealed thas making of Guided Note-taking was capable to improve student’s achievement in chemistry especially in hydrocarbon topic (tarithmetic > ttable ; 2,89 > 1,67).Item Penerapan Media Microsoft Power Point Ispring Pro Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Kimia Siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru Pada Materi Ikatan Kimia(2013-07-27) Mulyanti, HildaThis research discussing about the use of media Microsoft Power Point iSpring Pro on the subjects of a chemical bond in SMKN 2 Pekanbaru to improve performance students achievement. The use of appropriate media in the process of learning is required so that student feel interested and motivated to learn. The research’s form is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted on the even semester in academic year 2012/2013. The sample consisted of two classes, Majoring Images class as the experimental class and Majoring Sofware Engineering class (RPL) as the control class which randomly selected after homogeneity tests. The results of prerequisite test used to homogeneity test and chemical bonding test results used to hypothesis test. Data collection technique used is the test. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing obtained t count > ttable, it is 3,63 > 1,67. This shows that the use of Microsoft Power Point iSpring Pro as a media of learning can improve student achievement on the chemical bond subject in class X SMKN 2 Pekanbaru, the effect of an increase of 20,21%
