Item Hubungan Minat Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Bidang Studi Sejarah Di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri I Kampar(2013-06-10) Putri, Didia; AnggiThe level of student’s interest in history subject will gives influence to the student’s learning achievement. The history subject is a subject that contains of past event so that the teacher in the school only often uses lecturing or story telling method in teaching. Actually , both of that methods can make the students bored when the teacher can not adapt the material with the student condition. Besides, it can makes students are not creative then affect their interest in learning process. When the students are not interested in learning, this problem will affect their learning achievement in history subject. Based of the researcher’s observation at state senior high school 1 kampar timur, the lack of student’s interest in learning caused by the unvaried teacher’s explanation. So the students are not motivated and bored in learning. The teacher has lack of teaching material and do not mastering their teaching material. It occured the monotonous situation and students boredom in learning. Parent who do not support and do not pay attention to their children in learning also affect the children’s learning achievement. The o bjective of this research is to know whether is there any correlation between students interest in learning history and their learning achievement and how their achievement based on their exercise and examination scores also the research test is. The type of this research is bivariat correlational reseacrh that is looking for the correlation between two variables by using product moment correlation in analyzing the data. The technique of collecting data in this research by using questionnaire. The result of this research point out that the obtained value is 0,541, it means that there iscorrelation between interest (variable x) and learning achievement (variable y), it is appropriate with the certainty of the interpretation of correlational coefficient, if the coefficient interval at 0,40-0,599, the level of correlation is strong enough. The condusion from this research is there is significant correlation between interest and student’s learning achievement in history study at state senior high school 1 Kampar Timur.
