    Roads in the Capital District Child Echoes Echoes Children sergeant in District sergeant (GAS) Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) is a connecting road between the City Inhil Tembilahan as the Capital District with a district in Inhil that can be traversed by road. This road is vital for society Inhil because not all districts in Inhil can be traversed by road, most districts in Inhil receipts can only be traversed by the river path. Given that, Inhil District Government in 2010 initiated in 2011 in order to improve the quality of roads is budgeted to the Capital District Child Echoes sergeant who was very poor condition. Echoes of the Capital District Child road sergeant was almost entirely inundated by tidal water holes and rivers so that people who pass this way must be careful and accelerate the speed of the vehicle only between 20-30 KM / Hr. That is why it takes the attitude of the government to improve roads with potholes repair and improvement pengaspalannya. The purpose of this study is to Know the Performance Department of Public Works (MPW) Inhil to increase road in the Capital District Child Echoes of sergeant. Theory (approach) is used as a tool of analysis in this study is the theory and the theory of policy performance. While the methods used in this research is descriptive quantitative research that is intended to provide a systematic overview of the observed phenomena. Based on this study, the improvement in the District GAS made by DPU still seems sluggish. that road has been constructed and maintained by the DPU is still diverse responses from the public, this is due to some priority areas preferred process so that people who live in areas that are not a priority in the region feel the way it tends to lack of attention. While the user community participation in road maintenance that has been built according to the society gets more value in terms of performance DPU. After the road was completed DPU always make posts that guarded the road built by the community, the invitation is an effort to monitor the DPU than 6 months. Vehicle restriction policy by the respondent is a positive thing for maintaining the roads that have dibangunan, this is done to prevent or to slow the decline.
