    STUDI KONSTRUKSI ALAT TANGKAP JARING INSANG (GILL NET) DI DESA NIPAH SENDANU KECAMATAN TEBING TINGGI TIMUR KEPULAUAN MERANTI PROVINSI RIAU

    This research was conducted from 6 to 18 Juni 2012 in Nipah Sendanu Villaga, East Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict Meranti Isles Riau Province. The research was aimed to collec information on the construction of Gillnet fishing gear used in Nipah Sendanu Village, East Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict. Gear characteristics were observed and data obtainet to compared to literatures. The method used was survey method. The result of the research indicated that the construction of Gillnet used in Nipah Sendanu Village was the same as the construction of Gillnet in general that consisted of webbing, upper risk line, float line, buoy line, under ris line, sinker line, float, buoy and sinker.
