| dc.description.abstract | The purposes of this research are to know about:1) description of locus of control students who are not living with parents class X before the implementation of group counseling, 2) description oflocus of control of students who are not living with parents class X after the implementation of group counseling, 3)the differences between locus of control students who are not living with parents class X before and after the implementation group counseling,4) the influence of group counseling for locus of control students who are not living with parents. The population in this research were all students that not living with parents in class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, and the total of sample is 16 people with the technique of "purposive sampling".The method used was a quasi experiment One Group: one group pre-test and post-test design. To find out the locus of control of students who are not living with parents used IE scale. Analyze datas was conducted using percentage statistical techniques, to difference locus of controlof students beforeandafter conductedgroup counseling used"t" test. Of calculations "t" test obtained t calculation is bigger than ttable (8.20>2.042) at 5% level. Therefore Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is a difference before and after conducted group counseling for locus of control of students who are not living with parents class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru school year2012/2013. Then from the calculation of the product momen r = 0.62 determinant coefficient r 2 = 0.38.Thus it can be seen, the influence of group counseling services for locus of control students who are not living with parentsclass X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru school year 2012/2013 is strong, that is 38%.Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded after the counseling group, locus of control students who are not living with a parent class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru changes orientation to internal locus of control. | en_US |
