Abstract
This study implemented on PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Riau at
Jenderal Sudirman street No. 285 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine how
effect of motivation and ability simultaneously or partially to employee
performance PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Cabang Riau.
As for the population in this study were all employees of PT. Jasa Raharja
(Persero) Cabang Riau which amounts to 42 people and the entire population be
sampled in this study using census method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive
analysis, beside that also uses the quantitative analysis using multiple linear
regression with SPSS version 19.
From the result of research that has been done, simultaneous regression test
(F test) showed that the variables of motivation and the ability simultaneously
have a significant effect on employee performance and Partial test results (t test)
showed that variables of motivation and ability partially have a significant effect
on employee performance. Based on the value of the coefficient of determination
(R2) as big as 0.582 this means that the variable motivation and ability have of
58.2% influence on the performance of employees while the remaining 41.8% is
influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
