Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the implementation of the joint
coordination of the police in a raid in the city of Pekanbaru and to identify and analyze the
factors inhibiting the implementation - implementation of joint coordination of the police in a
raid in the city of Pekanbaru.
Theoretical concepts used in this study were under Soewarno Handayaningrat (2003:218)
in the coordination have characteristics: (a) responsibility, (b) the work process, (c) work setting
on a regular basis, (d) the concept of unity action, and (e) the purpose of coordination.
The population is made the object of research staff involved in implementing the joint
raid between traffic cop, Revenue and Department of Transportation (DLAJJR). For sample
withdrawal techniques Personnel engaged in joint raids relatively large considering the
population sampled using purposive sampling technique.
Based on the results of research on the implementation of the coordination function of the
police in a joint raid vehicles the results are quite good where as many as 23 respondents or
48.93% is dominated by an indicator of the work process in any implementation of a joint raid in
the city of Pekanbaru, the reasons respondents gave responses such as the work done apparatus
requires cooperation or labor union called coordination.
From the results of this study concluded that the coordinating there are also several
factors that the constraints include: lack of willingness of the leadership in the coordination, the
lack of guidance by the leader to subordinate spirit, no desire of the authorities not to carry out
the work in accordance with the result of the division is the maximum, the functions of
government agencies not run well, it is not the holding of regular meetings of the joint raid about
execution order and the absence of officers in carrying out their duties.
