Buffalo bone is a part of buffalo body that has not been utilized optimally. One of its alternative uses is as an adsorbent because bone is an inorganic material. Calcinated an inorganic material will produce a fairly stable oxides, especially CaO which has a cubic structure with an open framework that allows it to be used as an adsorbent. This study was conducted to analyze the adsorption capability of buffalo bone by varying the concentration of Fe 3+ ions 10-700 mg/L and contact time variation for 4-24 hours using the AAS (Atomic AbsorotionSpectroscopy). It was found that the ash of buffalo bone contained 20.56% calcium and potential to be used as an adsorbent for Fe3+. The adsorption capability was 23.9999 mg/g with a contact time of 24 hours.en_US
