dc.description.abstract | The Ghimbo Potai Customary Prohibited Forest is a conservation area that has quite high biodiversity. The forest is potential for growth various plants. Purpose of this study was to determine the abiotic effect of vegetation growth in the Ghimbo Potai Forest. The study used survey method. Plots were determined by purposive sampling with a plot size 20 m x 20 m for observing trees. Results of this study was that the temperature at the research site ranged from 26,6oC to 28,1oC, relative humidity ranged from 86 to 94%, while the pH range was between 6-6,8. In addition, intensity of light around 162,3 cd. The observed average canopy cover on transect one, two, and three were 61,42%, 63,48%, and 62,29% respectively. The study showed that abiotic factors affect diversity of vegetation in the Ghimbo Potai Forest. | en_US |
