Abstract
Management of communication effective and efficient is required in the program of Tanggung jawab Sosial Perlisahaan,
to the achievement of community empowerment. Research aims to study and analyze the management of communication
in social responsibility programs of companies PTPN V to the empowerment of communities in the province of Riau.
The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Subjects of this study were 17 people consisting of Head
of CSR/TSP, Head of CSR/TSP, along with three employees executing PTPN V and 12 beneficiaries of fiends
CSR/TSP in six operational areas of the company. The results of the study are planning stage, sources, messaging and
communication channels entirely determined by employee PTPN V, then the implementation phase, employees PTPN
V in collaboration with tile Department of Cooperatives in the areas of operations, finally monitoring and evaluation
stages, monitoring carried out by a team of auditors as the source and program evaluation phase is done by the
management of PTPN V.
