Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of organizational work environment on the performance of nurses in implementing nursing care. This research method is descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in the inpatient hospitals Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. The sampling method was cluster sampling and the sample was selected research nurse in the inpatient medical hospitals Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire that had been tested the validity and reliability. The analysis is used univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square. The results showed a significant relationship between organizational work environment on performance in implementing nursing care nurses (p value = 0.003). The results of this study recommend the organization to further improve the work environment so that organizational performance will be better nurses.
