dc.description.abstractThe aim of the research was to know the response of growth and production of ginger in crate system on solid organic fertilizer and the composition of planting media. The research used Randomized Complete Block Design Factorial with 2 factors and 4 replications. The first factor is solid organic fertilizer namely without and with solid organic fertilizer. The second one is manure: sand =2:1, manure : paddy chaff = 2:1, topsoil : manure : sand = 3:1:1, top soil : manure : paddy chaff = 3:1:1.the result research showed that solid organic fertilizer give the good effect on growth and production of zinger was shown by increasing number of buds and rhizome weight/plant. The composition of planting media namely top soil: manure : sand/paddy chaff (3:1:1) gave the best ginger growth. Keywords: ginger, planting media, solid organic fertilizer.en_US
