Food is needed by the body but food can also be a medium of transmission of disease. One of food contamination is Escherichia coli (E.coli) that is spread by kitchen sanitation facilities. This research is descriptive to find out the amount of E.coli in food such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and drink at Nutrition Installation of X Hospital. That amount of E.coli in food was calculated by Total Plate Count (TPC) and for drink using Most Probable Number (MPN) method. Data was collected by observation about kitchen sanitation facilities using check list. Escherichia coli (E.coli) was found in food from all samples (100%) and in drink from 2 (two) samples (100%). The result from observation indicated that food storage (100%) were bad, trash (100%) were bad, toilet (100%) were bad, washbasin (100%) were bad, cutting board (100%) were bad and refrigerator (100%) were good.
