dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to know the relationship of the addiction online game playing to adolescent identity. The research design was correlation descriptive with cross sectional approach. The total sample was conduct in the research 50 adolescences who played online game in game center Payung Sekaki subdistrict by used purposive sampling technique. The data collected by used questionnaire, consist of game addiction scale with the validity r count 0.445-0.817 ≥ r table and realibilty r alpha 0.920 ≥ r table. Identity scale questionnaire with the validity r count 0.449-0.814 ≥ r table and realibility r alpha 0.920 ≥ r table. The data was analized by univariat with frequency distribute and bivariat analysis with Chi Square. The result showed that there were 88% adolescences had online game addiction and 90% adolescences were in active identity and there were no significant between online game addiction to adolescent identity with P value = 1,000 > α 0.05. Adolescent are hoped to control the habit of playing online game in order not to be addictive in playing game.en_US
