Abstract
This study aims to develop nature-based teaching mataials about a valid,
practical, and effective for studied chemical sciaice in seventh grade jvinior high. The
method used is a research & development (development research). The experiment
was conducted in two years and consists of four stages, namely the stage definition,
design, development, desseminate. The research in the first year it was not until the
development stage. Data were collected throu^ assessment form completed by the
validator. The results showed that the first year of teaching materials based learning
environment developed for the chemical sciences in the junior class VII have met the
criteria valid in terms of content and construction.
