dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group activity therapy sensory stimulation on the ability of patient cooperation with social isolation problems. This study are used an experimental design using one group pretest-posttest. The research was conducted at Tampan Psychiatric Hospital Riau Province to 15 respondents who were taken by using a total sampling technique following inclusion and exclusion criteria. Measurement tools used are observation sheets and questionnaire that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate technique using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using t-test dependent. The results showed that sensory stimulation therapy group activity is effective to improve the ability to cooperation of patient with social isolation (p value = 0.000). Based on the results of this study is suggest to health care providers to apply group therapy sensory stimulation to improve cooperation with social isolation problems.en_US
