Abstract
The research was conducted with the aim to improve the ability to write rhymes
fourth grade students of SDN 111 Pekanbaru by applying directly to the learning
model SDN 111 fourth grade students Pekanbaru. Teachers activities first
encounter with the percentage of first cycle of 55%, 75% the second meeting. The
first meeting of the second cycle of teacher activity percentages of 85% and at the
second meeting have increased the percentage of 95%. At the first meeting of the
percentage of student activity cycle I 55%, the second meeting of the first cycle of
65% the percentage of student activity. While at the first meeting of the second
cycle of 75% and percentage of student activity at the second meeting of the
second cycle of 85%. Based on preliminary data average grade students' writing
rhymes IV SDN 111 Pekanbaru known only success percentage of 60.4 and
32.4%. Average increase obtained after implementing the learning model directly
in the first cycle UH I obtained the average increase is 78.4 percentage of
students who completed 78.3%. While at UH II second cycle averages increased
to 86.0 and the percentage of students who completed 91.8%. Based on these
results the application of learning models directly in the eyes of Indonesian
language study can improve the ability to write rhymes fourth grade students of
SDN 111 Pekanbaru.
