Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Cooperative Learning Two Stray Stay Two types can improve learning outcomes math fourth grade students of SDN 005 Raja Bejamu Sinaboi Rokan Hilir District, the second semester of the school year 2011/2012 on the subject matter fractions. Means of collecting data in this study is the observation sheet and achievement test. Observation sheet used to collect data about the activities of students and teachers during the learning process that refers to the type of cooperative learning stages TSTS. Technique data collecting technique tests performed in this study are from the daily tests when completed cycle. Observations on the research carried out by observing the activities of students and teachers during the learning process takes place every meeting. Based on the research has been an increase in the number of students achieving the learning outcomes of mathematics KKM fourth grade students of SDN 005 Raja Bejamu, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis of the proposed action can be accepted as true. In other words, the implementation of cooperative learning model TSTS types can improve learning outcomes math fourth grade students of SDN 005 Raja Bejamu school year 2011/2012 on the subject matter fractions.
