dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to determine the attitude of Rice Farmers Against New Printing Program at Simpang Village , District Berbak , Regency Tanjung Jabung . This study was conducted for one month starting on June 20, 2013 until July 20, 2013 conducted by interview , observation and in depth interviews where data / primary information obtained from farmers who follow the program new paddy fields as the respondent and to supplement data required is obtained from informants and secondary data obtained from the Department of Tanjung Jabung Plantation East , Central Bureau of Statistics Jambi , Jambi Provincial Plantation Office and Local District Office. The sample used in this study were 58 farmers who participate in the program with the selection of new paddy fields area of research by Simple Random Sampling in Simpang village with data analysis peasant farmer attitudes towards new paddy fields program conducted descriptive statistics. The results showed that the attitude of farmers to program new paddy fields tend to be positive , which means farmers are very receptive to the program of new paddy fields because the program is to help farmers in the expansion of farmers and farmers' land use sleep.en_US
