dc.description.abstractAbstract: Mandau’s Camat effort in cope with risky area caused by elephant in Desa Balai Makam Kbupaten Bengkalis ( 2008-2011). The aim of this research is to find out program outlining of coping with district of Duri, Kecamatan Mandau in coping with risky area caused by elephant, and to find out obstacles in applicating the efforts. This research is for information of government program in applicating decision about risky area, so Camat can solve the problem, and solving the obstacles in the process. Method used ini this research is qualitative method, which can’t be described by number but word, which describe condition, process, or any event. Data collecting technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation. To live a life, man need space for intrastructure buildings. These will be used by industry, agriculture, mining, and for living. Summary of this result shows us that Mandau’s Camat Effort is done by team work with a good partnertsip with people in the area.en_US
