| dc.description.abstract | The comsumtion patterns of hight society will impact on the amount of production waste generated, no exeption to that occurring in the District North ekanbaru. The District Pekanbaru as one of the District in the Pekanbaru City lot of rubbish both derived from household waste and non-household. The trashy are not managed properly will lead to a variety of diseases that can be contracted in the community and reduce the beaty of the city. Therefore, Pekanbaru manicipality passed a law number 18 year 2008 on waste management. Purpose of this research is to investigate the implementation of regional regulation number 18 year 2008 in waste management in the Disteict of the Pekanbaru City. Used theoretical consepts using theoris Edwars that covers aspect of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. This study uses qualitative researches methods to study, descriptive information. In the information collection researcers use interviewing technique, observation and documentation. By using purposive sampling. The result of this research showed that the implementation of legislation waste is still not running optimally because there are still some abstacles. Factor inhibiting factor in the implementation of regional regulation no. 18 of 2008 on waste management in the district of Pekanbaru is policy implementor of garbage worker performance remains low, fasilities and infrastructure that is trash, motor tricycles that is still not enaough and public participation is still low | en_US |
