dc.description.abstract | There are 176 types of bamboo throughout Indonesia. The existence of bamboo in Indonesia has a very important role for the community, especially in the use of bamboo by the community. However, until now there is no definitive information related to the type of bamboo utilization in Kuantan Singingi Regency of Riau Province. This research aims to find out various forms of bamboo utilization by the community in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research was conducted by explorative descriptive methods and open interviews. Data on the form of bamboo utilization is tabulated in the form of tables and described. Based on the results of research, the most commonly used type of bamboo is the type of bamboo derived from the bamboo clan. The most commonly used organs are rods that are often used to be used as building construction materials, handicrafts, and fishing tools. | en_US |
