dc.description.abstractThe aim of these research is to know the cognitive skill and social skill development of students in learning physic by applying copperative model with NHT approach and TSOS to kinematic of rectilinear motion subject in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru academic year 2009/2010. The subject of this research is class X, and the Total of student are 36. The research instruments are cognitive test and observation sheet of social skill. The data collection techrniques are test and observation descriptive analysis of average student learning outcornes 74.6 % in both categories. Inferential analysis results show that theproposed research hypothesis can be accepted at the significant level of confidence of 95% . The data analyzed descriptively which include 5 indicators: doing task (91,67%), high categories, support participant (75%) high categories, took the turn and share the task (76,56%) high categories, listening actively (86,72%) high categories and asking question (59,38%) medium categories. So that, the application of cooperative model with NHT approach and TSOS could exercised skill and social skill development of student at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru to Kinematic of rectilinier motionen_US
