dc.description.abstract | Abstract: There are some conditions and problems in coastal engineering that can't be solved by mathematical analysis. One of the ways to overcome these problems by using empirical equation. The physical modelling is a method to understand the hydrodinamis characteristic. The relationship between transmission waves and test variable can be modelled empirically. Since the equations are empirically, hence to realize the model is required a tool. In accordance with the .relationship characteristic of the transmission waves and sandbag breakwater, in this study regression analysis were used as a tool.In the rubble mound breakwater, Dn50 are parameters which are often defined as the independent variable. On the sandbag breakwater, Dn50 relatively constant value. The shape and arrangement of sandbags, width crest, slope and freeboard are a parameter that can be used as the test variable. A Statistical analysis showed that the In( ~t - I) nonlinear model is a suitable model to describe the characteristic of wave transmission at the submerged breakwater types of sand bags | en_US |
