Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV SDN 130 PEKANBARU Elvina1, Erlisnawati2, Hamizi3 Abstract The specific objective of this study is to increase the ability of the fourth year students in IPS subject at SDN 130 Pekanbaru by using of inquiri model. Inquiri is a model of which demands students to use cooperative inquiring, planning, project, and discussion in small group study, and then the students presenting their finding into the class. This research was conducted at SDN 130 Pekanbaru from April in Academic year 2012. The sample of the research is 36 the fouth year students ; 16 male students and 20 female students. The data of collection technique is a test and observation by using analysis descriptive. The research intrument is an objective test and the observation sheet of teacher and students. Teacher activities on first cycle first meeting is 63,8% within good category. Second meeting is 75% within good category, by the second cycle first meeting is 91,6% within veery good category, second meeting is 97,2% within veery good category. Look up to students is increased. On average basic score 67,63with classical completion 47,22% (incomplete). Increased on first cycle average score is 69,86 with classical completion 61,11%(incomplete and second cycle average score is 79,58 with completion 88,88%(complete). The observation conclude that applying learning inquiriis able to increase learning achievement on student Class IV SD Negeri 130 pekanbaru.
