dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research to increase students skillfull in writing essay of the five grade at SDN 29 Air Putih, through Contextual teaching and Learning (CTL) model. The subject of the research are students of the five grade at SDN 29 Air Putih. The population of the research are 19 (nineteen) students, skillfull in writing essay through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. This research to do in two cycles. First cycle consist of twice meeting’s with once last repetition cycle and second cycle. Instrument of the collecting data in this research are paper of teacher observation, paper of student observation and paper of result score. Percentage stage of student measure student got low category with average score 56,5 categories in UAS I stage of student skillfull got good category with average score 68,93. Stage of student skillfull in writing essay after measure UAS II got highest category with average score 82,31 categories. Instrument of collecting data used paper of teacher observation, paper of student observation during teaching learning process round way in class V SDN 29 Air Putih. Activity percentage students learning first meeting of first cycle are 57,14%, second meeting of first cycle are 89,28%, next teacher activities in learning with measure of first meeting of first cycle 64,28%, second meeting of first cycle are 71,42%, first meeting of second cycle are 78,57%, second meeting of second cycle 85,71%. Based on the result of test, the research conclude that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can to increase students skillfull in writing essay of the five grade at SDN 29 Air Putih Bengkalis. | en_US |
