dc.description.abstract | Nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum) is economicaly and ecologicaly multifunctional useful plants, which has the potential to produce biofuels. This study aims to determine the optimum concentration of BAP in promoting the formation of shoot from nyamplung seed explants. This study uses the BAP treatment arranged in a randomized (RAK) which are 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 8 mg/l. Data was analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and if significant followed by DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) with a level of 5%. The results showed that the best shoot induction is seed explant planted on MS medium in addition of 8 mg/l BAP, with the percentage of shoots at 100% and resulted in the highest number of shoot 4.8 | en_US |
