Abstract
Ganoderma sp. BTA1 local strain is a white rot basidiomycetes that have ligninolytic activities. This fungi was used for azo Mordant Black 17 (MB17) degradation. Their performance were evaluated at different Mordant Black 17 concentration and incubation time. To approve the ability of those isolates using N-limited medium and monitoring with specrofotometer. Idiophase of this isolate was 11th day. The experiment on MB 17, indicated that the Ganoderma sp BTA1 were resistent at 200 mg/l concentration of MB 17 with optimal result 150 ppm. The optimal concentration was used for further experiment. The result of this study indicated that the capacity of MB17 degradation was affected by incubation times. The degradation rate was greater at six days after idiophase with 95%.
