Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 145 PEKANBARU Oleh Rahmi Hidayah1, Syahrilfuddin2, Hendri Marhadi3 Abstract Quantum Teaching is lively learning model with all nuances. Quantum Teaching includes specific instructions to create an effective learning environment, designing curriculum, deliver content and facilitate the learning process. The research design was a collaborative classroom action research that consists of four stages at each cycle, including planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The research was carried out by two cycles. Data collection instrument in this thesis is a test of student learning outcomes and teacher observation sheet and student activities. In the first cycle replicates the average student increased from 65.53 to 74.12 with an increase of 8.59 points (13.1%). In the second cycle the average student increased from 74.12 to 79.75 with an increase of 5.63 points (7.59%). For all teachers in the first cycle increased from 70.8% to 77.1% with an increase of 6.3%. In the second cycle increased from 85.4% to 95.8% with an increase of 10.4%. As for the activities of students in the first cycle increased from 56.2% to 72.9% with an increase of 16.7%. In the second cycle increased from 83.3% to 95.8% with an increase of 12.5%. In the second cycle increased to 29 students (90.62%) so it can be concluded that the model of learning with the application of Quantum Teaching to improve learning outcomes math fourth grade students of SDN 145 Pekanbaru on the subject matter and reflection symmetry.
