Abstract
This aim of this study to determine the level of knowledge relations plywood factory employees about the dangers of occupational lung disease with the use of personal protective equipment. The design of this study used a descriptive correlation research and approach "Cross Sectional Study". The study was conducted on 95 respondents in the PT. Asia Citra on Kecamatan Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan using cluster sampling technique. This analysis used was a Chi-square test. The results of this study were showed there were no relationship between the level of knowledge about the dangers plywood factory workers occupational lung disease with the use of personal protective equipment (p value = 0.91 > 0.05). Results can be input for the labor department to explain back to the workers about health principles safety, researchers also suggested the company's plywood mill give a health counseling and perform better oversight of the use of personal protective equipment the employee concerned.
