| dc.description.abstract | This research was conducted in April 2012 in Jangkang coastal Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. Three station were decided on the Jangkang coastal by belt transect method. There were 10 species of mangrove found in the study area, namely: Bruguiera gymnorhyza, Bruguiera parviflora, Nypa fruticans, Rhyzophora apiculata, Rhyzophora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Sonneratia caseolaris, Xylocarpus granatum, Thespesia populnea, Excoecaria agallocha, At station I is the most dominant mangrove species are the type of E. agallocha and the least kind S. alba and S. caseolaris, at station II of the most dominant is the type E.agallocha and the least the kind B.parviflora and S.alba. at station III the most in dominant types E.agallocha was the kind B.gymnorhyza is the least of. The most frequently present spesies was Rhizophora apiculata. There was no domination shown by particular species (C ~ 0). It can be concluded that mangrove forest in the station II has been disturbed, however on the whole, the mangrove was in relatively good condition | en_US |
