The Objective of the research is to know effect of cellulolytic microorganism (CM) and inorganic fertilizers as a nutrient provider whose influence the most favorable to the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). The experiment was conducted at PT. Tunggal Perkasa Plantation Air Molek in Riau Province. The activities research is started from July to October 2012. Factorial randomized block design was used in this experiment with 2 factors and 4 replications. The first factor is the dose of cellulolytic microorganism, which consists of 2 levels and the second factor is inorganic fertilizers which consists of 3 levels, variance in test results further by (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. The results of research showed that interaction CM with inorganic fertilizers is significant to increase the number of sheath and stems circularly. The application 20 mL CM/plant and ½ the recommended dose of inorganic fertilizers give influence favorable, with increase the namber of sheath 8% manifestly.en_US
