dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) Officers’ performance at the Department of Crop and Horticultural Riau Province; (2) Work environment consists of the physical work environment and non-physical work environment; (3) The effect of work environment on officers’ performance. 76 officers were interviewed for the study were collected by Disproposionate Stratified Random Sampling and using Slovin formula. The analysis of the data for the first objective and the second were a Summated Likert Scale and simple regression for the third objective. The results showed that: (1) Officers performance is in good categorize, it is known from the average score 287.5, (2) Work environment consists of the physical work environment of officers in both categories is also categorized good, it is known from the average score is 278.4 and a non-physical work environment of officers is 299.5; (3) Work environment affects significantly to officers’ performance, it is seen from the analysis of the value of the regression coefficient 0.376, with the level of confidence 95%.en_US
