dc.description.abstract | The FinalWaste DisposalMuara Fajar is the final waste disposal in Pekanbaru. The waste is potential as a pollutan to our environment.Leachate contains organic and inorganic materials such as heavy metal which precipitate at the bottom of the ponds. The purpose of this study were to determine thecontent of nitrogen, phosphor, and potassiumin the sediment of all ponds.Sample were taken from eight sampling point in eachponds. Total nitrogen content was analyzed using titration method, phosphor content was determined using UV-VIS spectrophotometer (Spectronic Milton Roy) and pottasium content was determined by Flame Photometer (Jenway Series PFP 007). We found a various concentration of nitrogen, phosphor, and potassium from all ponds. The highest concentration of total nitrogen (0,5868%) and phosphor (0,1238%) was found in the sediment third pond, while the highest potassium content was found in sediment from pond (0,0884%). | en_US |
