Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship of self-concept and interpersonal
intelligences students of Early Childhood Education FKIP of Riau University. The
sample used in this study is 75 person. The techique of data coll is using likers
scale. The data analysis using large-scale trials and statistical methods of analysis
using SPPS 17. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant relationship
between self-concept and interpersonal intelligences of student. From the results
obtained are positive and significant relationship of self-concept and interpersonal
intelligences students of Early Childhood Education Guidance and Coun seling
University of Riau. it can be seen from the analysis of the data obtained is equal to
the value = 4,511 while the value (5%) (dk=n-2=75-2=73)=1,658
because so or greater than 4,511>1,658 it means that there is a
significant relationship between self-concept and interpersonal intelligence. The
resuling coefficient determinant is equal to =0,217 and p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), it
can be seenthat the concept of self giving effect of 21,7 % of the student
interpersonal intelligence.
