The research was conducted in March 2013 in estuary area of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The research was aimed to find out comparison density of mangrove and macrozoobenthos abundance. Measurement vegetation of mangrove used quadrant transect 10 x 10 meters, meanwhile abundance and density of macrozoobenthos used quadrant transect 5 x 5 meters. The study was found 7 species of mangroves, included R. apiculata, R. mucronata, B. gymnorrhiza, B. parviflora, X. granatum, N. Fruticans and A. aureum in average i.e. 1272 Ind/ha. Species of macrozoobenthos was founded are N. balteta, N. dubia, C. quadrata, C. capucinu, P. imperforate, P. expansa, T. telescopium, U. coarctata, C. Aambonesis and periopthalmus sp in average i.e. 0,51 ind/m2. Based on the results by linear regression, the relationship mangrove’s density and abundance macrozoobenthos was at middle level with percentage 30%.en_US
