Abstract
The background of this writing with the emergence of a variety of
student misbehavior that occurs within the school such as: skipping school,
smoking within the school, against teachers, students bring comic while learning,
and rarely enter or leave the classroom during lessons often take place, and even
damaging school equipment. In this research, the formulation of the problem is
taken How Civics Teacher Role (Citizenship Education) in instilling the values of
Pancasila at SMAN 1 Bangkinang West Kampar regency ". While the purpose of
the research to know "How Teachers Role of Civics (Citizenship Education) in
Infusing Pancasila values in SMAN 1 Bangkinang West Kampar regency". The
population in this study were all students at SMAN 1 Bangkinang West Kampar
regency, with the number of students of 330 students with class number 1 as many
as 110 students, class II, as many as 110 students while the third class of 110.
Sampling techniques by 10% of the population further (Suharsimi Arikunto, 2012:
112) states that if the subject can be taken of the 10-15 or 20% -25% or more. So
in this study the authors take a sample that is 10% class I by the number of
students 11 students, grade II by the number of students 11 students while the
class III by the number of 11 students. Techniques of data collection through
questionnaires, observation and documentation. The technique of data analysis in
this study uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods.
The results showed that the role of PKN teachers in instilling the values
of Pancasila at SMAN 1 Bangkinang Western District of Kampar district is 62.7%
which is a benchmark of 50.01% -100% (instrumental). So it can be concluded
that Citizenship teachers in instilling values of Pancasila at SMAN I Bangkinang
West Kampar district play. The hypothesis proposed in this study the author is
"That Teacher Civics (Citizenship education) to inculcate Pancasila values in
SMAN 1 Bangkinang Barat Kabupaten Kampar ". Accepted.
