Abstract

This research aims to find large power in Egypt that has brought an end to Hosni Mubarak's leadership has led the country for 30 years. Since Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has served as president in 1980, he has brought Egypt to the State which has an important role in the Middle East. Mubarak is also considered as a liaison figure between the Arab countries with the West in various conflicts in the Middle East. Mubarak has good relations with western countries, especially the United States. Mubarak success in international politics is not matched its success as a leader in the country. Various problems arise due to poor government's role in the welfare of its people. Problems of poverty, unemployment, human rights abuses and political problems that occur is getting worse and cause anger and resentment of the people more peaked. On January 25, 2011, thousands of Egyptians doing demonstrations demanding Mubarak step down. This action begins 18 days of demonstrations demanding the end of Mubarak regime. Action of millions of Egyptians can not be stopped because of the support from within and outside the country who continue to urge Mubarak resign. The great strength of millions of Egyptians into evidence that people of power are able to defeat the great power of the authoritarian leader. On February 11, 2011, Hosni Mubarak officially resigned as president of Egypt. To control the vacuum in the government, all authority Mubarak handed over to the Egyptian Military Council. Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces released a declaration stating that the number three will replace the Military Council government positions that are not supported by the people of Egypt.
