dc.description.abstractA chalcone (E)-3-(2-Bromo fenil)-1-(Naftalenil)-2- Propenon were synthesized by Claisen–Schmidt condensation of 1-acetilnaphthalene with 2-bromobenzaldehyde using NaOH as catalyst. Its structures of compound were characterized based on the interpretation of spectroscopic data including UV, FTIR, NMR, and MS. The compound show a good yield (60,57%). Its melting point observed in the range of 102-103 0 C.en_US
