EFEKTIFITAS TERAPI JUS BUAH BELIMBING MANIS (Averrhoe Carambola Linn) TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN DENGAN HIPERTENSI PRIMER

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research was to analize the effect of steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) to reduce patient’s blood pressure with primary hypertension. The research used quasy experimental method with Non-equivalent control group design which devided into two group there were treatment and control group. The sampling technique was purposive sampling which there were 30 hypertension pasients as samples who had choosen depend on inclusion criteria. The sample devided into 15 people of treatment group and 15 people of control group. The patients of treatment group were given a glass of steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) everyday in a weeks and if the blood pressure decreased less than 1 week so treatment was stoped. For control group, the researcher controled their blood pressure without drinking steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn). The equipment that was used to measure blood pressure was sphygmomanometer. Data analysis applied were univariate and bivariate by used dependent sample t test and independent sample t test. The research result showed that mean of blood pressure before drinking steeping was 155,67/94,20 and mean of blood pressure after drinking steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) was 123,67/77,33 which mean difference of blood pressure arround 32 to sistole and 16,87 to diastole after drinking steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) with p value= 0,000. The conclusion is by drinking steeping sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) can lower blood pressure on hypertension patients. So based on the result, the people who have primary hypertension disease suggest to apply it to reduce high blood pressure. The researcher suggest for other researcher to do deeper study about sweet starfruit (Aveerhoe Carambola Linn) to reduce blood pressure. | en_US |
