dc.description.abstractThis article present a new approach to determine weighting matrices in optimal control using adaptive particle swarm optimization. APSO is modified from standard PSO which have weighting and multi globalbest. APSO used to improve control performance by selecting appropriate weighting matrices. Simulation is given to illustrate the design procedure and to comparation of control performance between PSO and APSO using integral absolute error (IAE).en_US
