Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' description of breakfast habits, find a picture of student achievement, identifying relationships breakfast habits of students with learning achievement, identify the relationship of health status of students with learning achievement. The research was conducted by analytical research methods to the design of the study was conducted in Cross Sectional. The research was conducted in the village of Kari SDN 012 District Central Kuantan Regency of Singingi in class five until six of the 83 respondents. Measuring instruments used were questionnaires and students' grades and attendance attendance. Analyzes used univariate and bivariate analysis was using the Chi-Square test. The results obtained with the univariate analysis the majority of students who used to eat breakfast as many as 77 students (92,8%), the majority of students who belong to the category eat rice at breakfast time as many as 70 students (84,3%), the majority of students who have a healthy health status as many as 52 students (62,7%) and the majority of students are quite accomplished as many as 77 students (92,8%) whereas bivariate where there is a significant relationship between breakfast on student achievement in Kari Village Elementary School District 012 District Central Kuantan Regency of Singingi with p value = 0,010 < α 0,05, and no significant relationship between health status on student achievement curry Village in SDN 012 District Central Kuantan Regency of Singingi with p value = 0,403 > α 0,05. It is expected the teacher to suggest to students to continue to apply the regular breakfast habits and improve health status.
