ABSTRACT
This research aimed at improving students learning outcomes in teaching
and learning process at MTs Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru by implementing
cooperative learning model of numbered heads together structural approach in
mathematics lesson. This study uses classroom research. It was conducted in two
cycles. The activity and students learning outcomes data were gained by
collecting activity data by using observation sheet and daily test. The data which
were collected were score which descriptive analyzed statistically. The result of
study in the first cycle found that the percentage of students who achieve KKM is
20% and the second cycle is 42.86%, an increase from before the measures the
percentage is only 14.28%, and the award based on the first cycle of five teams
awarded a great team, a team awarded the good team and a team awarded the
super team, while in the second cycle of seven teams awarded super team. The
conclusion of the study showed that the implementing of cooperative learning
model for numbered heads together structural approach could improving students
learning outcomes mathematic.
